Friday, March 9, 2012. January - March 2012. The New Year opened with a suprise gas leak repair and hot water heater replacement. We survived 12 days without heat or hot water; boiling water for all our hot water needs and wearing lots of extra layers. We were really fond of the borrowed electric blankets! Darin and Jaryn assembled a rocket and launched it. This was a very big deal; the last rocket launched but never came back! We are happy to report that we still have this rocket. Look who turned 40!

Darin and Jaryn built Zuckerman's truck from Charolette's Web - Wilbur even rode in the back. What was pegged as a slow car proved everyone wrong - this truck was fast. Thursday, June 4, 2015. We were at Sprouts. The children love the piles of produce and bins of bulk goods. This particular trip they fixated on the Butternut Squash. I get so tired of saying "No" when they ask for ice cream and treats every trip (even if we have Eegees at home) that I gladly said yes to a few out of season squash! Monday, June 8, 2015. This isn't Girls' Night. This was a trip to the zoo with Our friends the Sullivans. I love how well they hold hands! Now this is Girls Night. We watched girly movies, did our nails and ate chocolate. Well, we made chocolate then ate the dough and batter scrapings. Which left a sweet dessert to share with friends the next day. How does girls night happen? We encourage Grant to take Gauge on the Father and Sons camping trip! And now I need to rescue Daddy from her help at the dishes.
