Tuesday, September 30, 2003. I just posted. Amazing. No dates yet, though. So why am I here. Who am I. Why are you reading this. What the hell is CJ-8. I guess some background is necessary. In Ithaca detailing their new and used cars. I did that for a year and a half. Careerwise, not a good move, although it was experience for the job I now have. Socially, it was a great move to stay in Ithaca. I lived for free at my frat (working as facility manager) and had a hell of a time. Posted by me at 6:40 PM.

Wednesday, November 24, 2004. After dealing with the world's immense stupidity today,. I must have a beer to help unwind. I'm not one to drown my problems in alcohol. but after today, well. Ben's response from inside my car:. Some idiot called us up on the phone and asked for a price on brake rotors. upon hearing the price of the rotors, she said something to the effect of "damn, for that price i can just buy them at the parts store" and hung up on me. Ben's response as i slammed down the phone:. Upon re...

Wednesday, January 28, 2004. From the "Let's Beat A Dead Horse" department:. Or is it merely a "dick move"? Anyone out there know anything about legalities surrounding stuff like this? I put in my 2 weeks notice today. that's 2 weeks more than the bastards deserve. From the "Let's Get Over The Job Thing Already" department:. What i'm listening to:. And finally. No Doubt's hits album. haven't actually listened to it yet. should be good stuff. Posted by me at 2:38 AM. Sunday, January 25, 2004. Blogging duri...

Monday, July 31, 2006. I'm finally back. Bug and i recently took a trip to Chicago. we met up with amyloo and critter- it was great! It was the first time either bug or i had ever left the eastern time zone, and what an adventure it was! Bug loved the Cubs/Nationals game, as pictured above- and the cubbies actually WON! Bug on the chicago coastline. Some other things we noticed:. 1 chicago bums dress nicer than the middle class back home. 2 chicago police cars still have the same paint scheme as seen in.

Monday, November 28, 2005. A New Leash on Life. I'd been thinking about getting another dog lately. it'd been about a year since Spaz's passing. And i thought it was time for another dog, although not necessarily anytime soon. The Puppy With No Name came home with me yesterday. He's great with the neices and nephews. the cats, too. maybe a bit too friendly too soon with the cats- an up-close hello to Tom the Cat resulted in a swipe across the nose, but Tom warmed up a bit later. But haven't settled on it.

http://cj8.blogspot.com/2006/05/very-special-message-for-those-of-you.html
Tuesday, May 09, 2006. A very special message for those of you who have been concerned about Bug the Goat's absence:. Best wishes to Bug (p.s. get off the drugs, you stupid, hollow-horned ruminant). Since Bug should be just fine in due time, all of you Bug-Lovers can now go and have a nice, cold Genny Cream Ale and relax. And in less touchy news:. The evil Nokia 6230. And now another snazzy story about me being annoyed:. Now before you call me an asshole, let me say that i love people like that. What to ...

Friday, July 14, 2006. Now that i finally just put up an all-new post, i've taken it down already for something much more important to me. it will be back later. I'm a dog person, you all know that. my dogs are my lifetime pals. keep that in mind as you read. I just went to wallyworld today for new bag of tennis balls, since Ringo had managed to lose the last dozen and was always searching the house for one. these were Wilson brand tennis balls- his favorite! Still wet from a swim. Ringo vs. Will. As wit...

Tuesday, November 15, 2005. Richard Grieco, Barry Manilow, and now Andy Garcia? What is WITH people? And what is up with this "looks like" stuff all the sudden in my life? Never before have i been compared to anyone, and only in the last year has anyone ever said to me that i look like someone they know, and that's happened 3 times. shaving the goatee must have made the difference. I must admit, if i look like any of those guys, looking like Andy Garcia is the most flattering. Posted by me at 4:49 PM.

Thursday, January 05, 2006. This is a very negative-sounding post. please disregard and enjoy. The dog too cute to kill. Yes, he has a name now. after thousands of suggestions in the comments section, and hundreds more mailing their entries, and dozens of women showing up at my door with names and hopes of scoring a date with me, i finally settled on a name- with sarah's help. His name is Ringo. Amy liu scored a " d'oh! By suggesting the great name Riley, but suggesting it too late for consideration.

Monday, December 29, 2003. If this jeep stuff ain't your bag, remember, there's other stuff at the bottom, and i will be posting more new stuff soon. don't despair! I aim to please all. Posted by me at 11:15 AM. Saturday, December 27, 2003. No, this isn't me. it's my car, tho. and yes, you're right- it DOES say "slut on board" on the back window of that chevy. No, no convertible top, although I love the old Cherokee styling. A Wrangler? That only left one choice a Scrambler! It was a must-have. Mark came...
