March 31, 2013 1 Comment. At 9:35am Duane was taken in to the surgery area to have the port removed pray that is where the source of the infection is coming from. April 3, 2013 1 Comment. Duane is doing pretty good, making improvements. They doctors had a pic line put in today to start TPN. (a Food supplement). He had a Better day than yesterday. Had physical therapy. Up once sat in chair for one hour 20 minutes and did some I arm exercises with a towel later in the day. He is being move him to a room, tonight. Yay! Now we Do not have to have a visitation schedule. That was hard on everyone, but necessary. I will continue to update. Have a good night.

On march the 9th Duane started feeling bad and we finally were able to get him to the ER (we all know he’s a little stubborn) at that time his stent was stopped up again. In 1980 Duane was diagnosed with cancer…Which he is totally free of. He received radiation about 13,000 rads of it. Little to our knowledge did we know that it would cause problems some 30 years later.
