Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Over the years it just becomes impossible to stay as close to all of your friends as you would like. You have a strong desire to, and perhaps you even make plans and get together once in a blue moon, but as we all grow up and get married and have kids and make more friends, we are perpetually torn in more and more directions. Wow, did that ever sound sappy? But it was honest. On October 15, 2008 at 4:09 pm Comments (2). On October 2, 2008 at 5:18 pm Comments (3).

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. So, some of my best friends and I took a trip to New York City over MLK weekend (also known in smaller circles as “inauguration weekend” or “the weekend after the airplane landed in the Hudson”). Why, you’re wondering? It was our 10 year friendiversary, naturally. On January 27, 2009 at 10:02 pm Comments (2). To TrackBack this entry is:. Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Well, they are both pretty good at golf. And James, well I think at this point he is more entertained by watching the rest of the family look silly than actually playing much himself. Wii highly recommend getting one and having your own family fun night. On December 28, 2008 at 11:51 am Leave a Comment. Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Jamey chose the “Crazy 8s” race in Kingsport, TN, as our first goal, and we tackled it on Saturday a week and a day ago. It’s an 8-K race, so basically 5 miles. It wasn’t for charity, I didn’t even raise money for a special cause (except perhaps the cause of not becoming flabby). And it was actually super fun. And this is a shot of my shirt after the race. GR-ROSS! No this is not touched up in any way, shape, or form. And yes, I. I blame the crowd in the first mile, and...

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Raise your hand if you cannot stop watching the olympics. wow, typing with one hand goes really slowly. Anyhoo, i’m happy to admit that i’ve been quite taken with the games this year. i mean, michael phelps, hello please? And i never thought i’d say this, but at least the kids are out of town this week (at the beach with jamey’s parents). if they were here, then we wouldn’t start watching the games until 9 or 9:30, and what with the magic of tivo w...I’m admitting...

http://blakeandmo.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-got-little-bored.html
Thursday, July 29, 2010. I got a little bored. So, here it is. our (and by "Our" I mean "My") new blog. It's kind of like my new kitchen. Grey and white with little hints of green. If you read this blog through Google Reader, hop on over to the actual blog. To see what I spent my morning doing. Is that begging for compliments, or what? I know I'm a brat, I get told that a lot. Anyway, hope everyone's last few days of summer are stellar! Love the new look! Yep, it is adorable! Loving the new colors!

The Farmer's Almanac: December 2010
http://blakeandmo.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 31, 2010. Blake here, and being the good journalist that I am - writing the first draft of history and all - I thought our blog readers should know what's going in the Farmer history books for 2010. I have trisected our lives into work, home and family. We start with our professional lives. Mo gave Lipscomb about 15% more of her life when she said, "yes, I'll be a cheerleading coach.". I was doing interviews and filing stories nationally for All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Market...

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. And just think, it was only 9 months ago that my dear husband came up with this gimmick as a way for us to blog regularly. Totally worked, right? We did have a fun October; we took a trip to N.C. and saw some friends, we did the obligatory pumpkin patch/corn maze visit, and of course there was Halloween. (which, by the way, we managed to snap a grand total of 4 pictures. we’re great chroniclers for our children’s posterity.). Wow, we have cute kids. But it was honest.
