http://amandakneeshaw.blogspot.com/2009/03/gawasnon-ako-i-am-free.html
Thursday, March 19, 2009. Greetings one and all. I think I have fully come to realize that my time remaining here in Cebu is very short! Is the date I fly back to Canada. Only about 6 more days. Floods of mixed emotions come as that date gets closer. It will be hard to leave all the wonderful people and places of the Philippines but I also look forward to my return to Canada and to Ambrose for my last year. These are things I couldn't. Have learned in a classroom. Though I’m not done yet and th...Ministr...

Sunday, February 22, 2009. These are some pictures of me and the other onSiters, on our ELE in Phuket. The team included Hung and Duc both living in Cambodia, Lindsey living in Bali, Indonesia, Natasha living in China, Sam living in Thailand and myself from the Philippines. I will start this blog post with an update about our ELE trip to Phuket. It was certainly a great trip! We had a relatively hassle free week. At one point, in the middle of the highway one of our motorbikes tires blew, but thankfu...

Amanda's Blog: April na!
http://amandakneeshaw.blogspot.com/2009/04/april-na.html
Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Pictures above are some of the youth going swimming in the ocean and me with Pastor Bong and his wife, Evangeline at the day care graduation I spoke at. Maayong Gabii sa tanan! Thanks for checking in. As the days tick away here I continue to wrestle with processing what I'm feeling. Bantayan is known for having large festivals, prosessionals and parties during Easter so a lot of foreiengers and tourists flock to this island during Holy Week, and I guess I'll be one of them also...

http://amandakneeshaw.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Hello dear friends. It seems just about the right time for another update. I hope all is well with you back in Canada as you enjoy the last few weeks of summer. Life is busy here in Cebu. Many things have been happening and happening at a fast pace. I entitled this post 'learning' because I feel that is all I have been doing and nothing else. I am realizing more and more that I am definitely not in Canada anymore! And they are so happy that I'm trying. This next week is going to...

Friday, March 27, 2009. Franco and Flip flops. One cannot venture a visit to Spain without the imposing figure of Francisco Franco making its way into the conversation. Let me give you the shortened version of a very long and complex history about one of Spain's most notorious figures. . The leader of the Nationalist forces, General Franco, headed the authoritarian regime that came to power in the aftermath of the Civil War. Until his death in November 1975, Franco ruled Spain as . Wednesday, March 18, 2009. That's right folks. The thing that I will be thinking about and most likely dreaming about for the next 4 1/2 months. English Camp as well as being the final thing we'll be involved in here in Spain, is really the culmination of everything we've worked towards my whole internship. Let me tell you about it. I'd be happy to hook you up with an application! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Churches, Palaces and Castles (aka Lisbon).

Amanda's Blog: November 2008
http://amandakneeshaw.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. Its been a few weeks since my last post, so its that time again for a new update. As it is getting colder in Canada, I'm pretty sure it is getting hotter here! And the Philippines is in full swing for the Christmas season! I have heard enough Christmas carols and have seen enough Christmas decorations for any one person to handle! This last week, we as the staff of Padala Ministries, had a prayer and planning day from 9 am to 10 pm! I think that is all for updates for now!

Buhlers in Madrid: February 2009
http://buhlermadrid.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 22, 2009. Post written by Charlie). Since writing out a relatively detailed description of our lives here in Tres Cantos, I have had a difficult time thinking of blog topics to discuss. People from home often ask us, "So, what's new? CCTC Christmas Pageant 2008. New Year's in Belgium. One of the best parts of living in Europe when other family members do as well, is the insanely cheap flights that can take you anywhere in about two hours or less. It's like living in Calgary and havin...
