European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. We created a small textbook format. We commissioned photography by award-winning photographer Keiko Kanda. Each story was separated with gradient colour introductions. Layouts were kept simple to allow the stories to come to the forefront. The book was reproduced in Russian too. Add to Download Centre.

Gond tribal artist Bhajju Shyam created the event illustrations, a bird that talks to people and travels across India. The event illustration worked well with the BBC brand guidelines. We used local channels to promote the event even rickshaws! Flyers photocopied in local paper. The event was well attended. This pre-event campaign led to a post-event campaign, also illustrated by Bhajju. The illustration represent the BBC programming. We did an advertising campaign in local newspapers.
