Thursday, February 28, 2013. Out for a winter walk in beautiful weather. Big, blue sky Alberta. It's hard to see but there are pussy willows. One of the kids took this picture through the window. What a beautiful sunset. C and K Whitmore. Friday, February 22, 2013. Yesterday while in Grande Prairie, I wanted to take some pictures of Chloe. Russell was on an equipment hall with his grandpa so it was just us. She asked me why we were doing pictures when there is nothing pretty outside. C and K Whitmore.

While on a Walk Today. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. While on a Walk Today. Customize your own free digital slideshow. C and K Whitmore. Saturday, October 27, 2012. Last weekend some students from Russell and Chloe's school came to Grande Prairie to do service work. The job was to tear down an old fence and start to rebuild the new one. This is Chloe and her friend Klinta singing for special music at church. Church was held at Kakut Lake. What a beautiful day it was. The tearing down stage. The weather was ...

Spring Break Part 1. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Spring Break Part 1. Spring came a little early to the school room. The kids like it when the decorations are changed and there are new things to look at. With the longer days, the sun shines more in the window and this room is a pleasant place to work and read. We all took our turn. C and K Whitmore. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). C and K Whitmore. Sexsmith, Alberta, Canada. View my complete profile. Awesome Inc. template. Powered by Blogger.

Thursday, September 26, 2013. What a fun time we had. I tell you this dad knows how to relate to women! She has such a classic look. There were so many to choose from. These are some of my favorites. I love how to color is lingering on the trees. Winter still seems to be in the distance. Hope it stays that way for another month or so. C and K Whitmore. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, December 29, 2014. Since we live in an area where winter is one of the main seasons, we bundle up and enjoy the snow and cold. Winter is a beautiful time of year. The kids have a tunnel and a fort built. One of the kids must have taken this picture. I guess that's what happens when I leave my camera out. Christmas tree lights are the best part. We love just sitting in the living room with the soft glow and visiting. Curtis being silly sporting his new jeans. These are my favourite socks for winter.

Tuesday, July 2, 2013. The weather was beautiful for a parade. We joined the Layton family and had a great spot along the parade route. Grandma and the kids. It was snack time for the baby. My boys. Like father like son? The kids had it figured out that the louder they shouted Happy Canada Day and waved their flags, the more goodies they received. They just sat there with their bags open and parade participants came and filled them. Ah yes, can't forget Tim Hortons. C and K Whitmore. C and K Whitmore.

Kids are Growing Up. Thursday, October 2, 2014. Kids are Growing Up. Russell has chosen for his winter activity to do a young masters class. It's a fusion type class of karate, ju-situ (not sure on the correct spelling), taekwondo, self defence, and wrestling. He is in a class with other kids his age and size, so it's not so intimidating because all the kids are about the same size. There are girls in the class as well which creates a nice balance. Ranger is still her best friend. C and K Whitmore.

Saturday, December 22, 2012. Oregon is a beautiful state. I'm glad we had the opportunity to share it with the kids. We went to Yachats for a family reunion/celebration of life for my great aunt. Our family travelled with Mom and Dad in their van. Memories were made indeed. The first two pictures is the view from our hotel room. Curtis, Russell and Chloe waiting to outrun the waves. I got soaked from a wave I did not think would come up that far or fast. The kids laughed at that one. C and K Whitmore.

Wednesday, April 24, 2013. How many pictures of tulips do I need? I absolutely love a market. When I travel my favorite place to visit is the market. Sure palaces, museums, parks are all nice but nothing gets my blood pumping like a good market. I so wish Portland had a big meandering public market like Pikes Place. It would fit perfectly with our big meandering Powell's books. If your not familiar with the gum wall. This is the gum wall. Gross but fascinating at the same time. So many gorgeous flowers.

Friday, August 30, 2013. This morning I decided on a whim to head out with my camera. I ended up at the wildlife refuge. I haven't been there for a long time and I enjoy trying to "capture" critters as they scamper about. These creatures are called Nutria and they are kinda cute until they climb out of the water and their extra long rat tails drag behind them. This one is gonna tick his momma off when he comes home looking like that! Besides looking for critters its just a beautiful location. But I have ...
