Saturday, February 15, 2014. There's nothing like watching something grow when there are mounds and piles of snow outside and a thirty degree day sounds like a heat wave. Jed heard rumor that garlic was one of those things that starts to regrow without needing to be planted outside. Thursday, April 09, 2015. Happy Easter, Y'all! Last Sunday was Easter, and we had quite a day! First, with two Easter baskets marked "M" and "E.". Next, into Easter dresses our ladies went, in preparation for their big photo op on the steps. Then, it was off to church for Swedish Pancakes, a lovely service, and afternoon celebrations in L'ville with the family (topped off with an egg hunt and a jaunt around the block). Monday, March 09, 2015. Visit to the Conservatory. This past weekend, we made a visit to the lovely Garfield Park Conservatory here in Chicago. Boy, what a treat it was! Upon walking in, we were greeted with lush, green leaves everywhere, and little pops of colorful flowers amidst the green made us feel like we were in full blown spring (and some rooms - summer!
