Saturday, June 29, 2013. June 28, 2013 - Day One at Home. First walk in a stroller. We got home at 8:00, and promptly put Eli to bed. He once again slept in our bed, but this time with Hilary, while Sheldon slept in Eli's bed. Sunday, March 18, 2012. Happy Referral-versary to us. Sadly, it has been 9 months since our referral. In even our "worst case" scenarios, we expected to be home with the girls by now. The last few weeks have been increasingly difficult as we know the girls are growing older without us. We are blessed to have all the support that we have but we also want the girls to feel that support and start making friends and meeting cousins and that kind of thing already. So, what did we do on this referral-versary?

I think Annika was about 4 when she decided she wanted to have long hair, just like her auntie T (who since then has also cut her hair shorter). Over the past 2 years she's had it trimmed about 2-3 times each year, but other than that, we've just let it grow. And grow, and grow. And now it was time for a change. All ready for grade 1! I'm a little late with this post - Annika's last day of kindergarten was last week Friday, June 27, but we left for an extra-long weekend at the lake right after that, so I haven't gotten around to posting until now.
