When I was a kid, we lived on a 2-acre lot out in the middle of nowhere. When it came time for summer, I always looked forward to taking off my shoes and socks and spending the entire summer out playing. Riding bikes, playing kickball, shove-up, and even occasional water battles were some of my favorite things to do. As a teacher, rainy days were hardly ever welcome!
