So i have been doing some duck rescue lately. I haven't posted here in a while. but i just had to share what is going on with me these days. Last summer i took in an arthritic Pekin duck named "Three". he has a degenerative arthritic issue that is slowly taking away is mobility. sad, i know, but i am doing everything i can for him. Here is the original post (warning: GRAPHIC pix of an injured duck):. Http:/ dulcamatrix.livejournal.com/7227. But you have to see what i did for Three. Post a new comment.

Introducing 3 day old ducklings to a broody hen? My only duck became very broody so i bought some fertile eggs off of ebay. Thing is somthing got all but 2 of the eggs, i have no idea what did it but after that i built a little fort knocts around her which i leave open during the day. Sno's Perpetual Rantings

Least until I stop bitching. October 10th, 2007. Question @ 02:36 pm. October 14th, 2007 02:43 pm (UTC). Well personally, i like shel silverstein and a musician named Ellis Paul. (he writes poetry). Two totally opposite ends of the spectrum. October 14th, 2007 06:00 pm (UTC). Re: sorry so late. Thanks, better late than never. I think I might choose Shel Silverstien actually. either him or Wendell Berry, because his poems are short. Dunno, oh well, thanks again. October 23rd, 2007 06:54 pm (UTC).

Six Little Ducks: lets_quack
http://lets-quack.livejournal.com/106184.html
To add to the cuteness Yahoo and Google have graced us with today, how about a song? Six little ducks that I once knew. Fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones too. But the one little duck with the feather on his back. He led the others with a quack, quack, quack. Down to the river they would go. Wibble-wobble, wibble-wobble, to and fro. But the one little duck with the feather on his back. He led the others with a quack, quack, quack. Home from the river they would come. Wibble-wobble, wibble-wobble, ho-hum-hum.

http://lets-quack.livejournal.com/106799.html
Million Dollar Duck Race. 25,000 rubber duckies will be let loose tomorrow at the Brooklyn Bridge in a race for charity (Special Olympics). I'm going to be sponsoring at least one duck ($5) and possibly a Quack Pack ($25). I hope you will consider it as well. I'm then going to go to and watch the action! Post a new comment.
