Dumb Dumpers
Flytipping is the illegal dumping of waste from a bin bag of household rubbish to large quantities of tyres or construction waste. If caught flytipping you could face a Fixed Penalty Notice of 200 or if taken to court a fine of up to 40,000 or imprisonment. Dumb Dumpers is the national public reporting tool for flytipping in Scotland originally set up by the Scottish Flytipping Forum. Flytipping can be reported by calling the Stopline on 0845 2 30 40 90 or by completing the online form.
