Forest Lodge - The Property. Forest Lodge is located in Mid Argyll on the west coast of Scotland, four miles to the north of the town of Lochgilphead. The property faces north-west looking out over fields towards Crinan Ferry. Set on its own with a large garden and private wood, the house is secluded and yet within easy walking distance of the village and nearest pub, a third of a mile away. The house is roomy and comfortably furnished with modern amenities. The property consists of:.

Disabled access - The house is on one level but the grounds can be accessed only by two steps and a narrow garden gate. Whilst the property is suitable for someone with limited mobility, it could not be recommended for wheelchair users. October to May (excluding Christmas and New Year).

The area is full of possibilities. Here are just some. Argyll has the highest concentration of prehistoric monuments in Scotland with standing stones, burial cairns and cup and ring marks all in evidence. Dunadd Fort is less than a mile from the house. Kilmartin House is an important centre of information from which to start an exploration. Low light pollution provides an excellent opportunity to star-gaze on a clear night from the house. The Milky Way is often visible. Bird, wildlife and fauna watching.
