Once upon a time. Monday, January 27, 2014. November was a rough month, but we still managed to have some fun in there :). Despite being put on bed rest, we ventured down to Huntington to visit Stan and DeNae &co. for Thanksgiving. This will likely be our last visit with them since they are moving to Wyoming in just a few short months! We got there and it was beautiful weather, but the next day we woke up to snow! Once upon a time. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Evie loved being able to be out there playing with them. Thanks to a friend, who gave her this little riding toy, she was in heaven! Later that month we had to say goodbye to one of our good friends the Jensen's. Kara had been Lily's preschool teacher and a great friend of mine. I couldn't have made it through that first year and everything with Evelyn with out the Jensen's! They didn't really want to take a picture, hence the "sleeping"). Andrea and Nate Tracey.

Once upon a time. Friday, March 22, 2013. When Lily was a toddler, I often wondered if she would EVER grow out of her defiant, stubborn, ornery, getting into everything stage. It is now hard for me to even remember her being that way! Because of weather and spring breaks, Lily has not had preschool most of March. Which means she has been home with Evie and me every day. Now I may not let her go to school in the fall! I was calling for you to come help, but since you didn't come I did it without you!

Once upon a time. Monday, September 30, 2013. I am not doing so great with the blogging. but here we are with July. July was a tough month, but we were still able to do some really fun things :)! First of all, we had some great friends come visit us! It just so happened that their visit fell over Nate's birthday; which worked out rather nice for Nate, since he was then able to spend his birthday with his best friend! It was a great visit and I was so glad that they could all come! By the end ;)!

Once upon a time. Friday, May 17, 2013. Easter, late as usual. In an effort to catch up this will be a condensed post about Easter. This year our Spring Break was over Easter, and we decided to take a little trip. Our close friends the Israelsen's and the McLemore's invited us down to spend some time with them before Chisa and Gordon move to Hawaii for residency this month. It was such a fun trip! Once upon a time. Tuesday, April 1, 2014. I can not even tell you how wonderful it was to have them here! I had been on bed rest for a month and I was getting so depressed and frustrated. When my brother told me they were coming, I literally started crying I was so excited and happy! And let me tell you, the visit did NOT disappoint! We ALL had SO MUCH fun, my kids are STILL talking about what a great visit it was! The two weeks went by WAY too fast for us! After Christmas, the weather got nice for a day...

Once upon a time. Tuesday, March 25, 2014. The last time I blogged I was really trying to make an effort to catch up. I had been feeling like I needed to get stuff done. I guess I was "nesting" because I had this little lady that night! Recovering from that many stitches down there was NOT easy so I was ALL for 12 stitches again! Here I am all drugged up and ready for a baby! I didn't get to see her for almost 6 hours, but Nate was with her the whole time and took these pictures. Luke, my little hero!

Once upon a time. Thursday, October 31, 2013. The month of August was a bit of a blur, but we still had some fun times :). We went to one of our favorite hiking places, Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park, to celebrate our 12th anniversary. They like to scare the crap out of me and do things that are less than safe. Luke took this picture of Nate and me together. Happy Anniversary to us! At the very end of the month school started for Luke, Gabby and Lily. My big 5th grader! How did he get so old!
