I rode from Santa Monica. to Santa Barbara. and back this past weekend.the. 13th ANNUAL SANTA BARBARA DOUBLE CENTURY . a 200-mile, 2-Day ride. The ride is done annually by Shifting Gears. One of the local bicycling clubs in Los Angeles. Each year for the past few years it was dedicated to the memory of Drew Franklin. A former cyclist who passed away from AIDS. I know I would have liked Drew! The HE.R.O. Creed. I have yelled "Car Up!
