Cameron In The Corps: Batey Nef
http://cameroncorps.blogspot.com/2009/11/batey-nef.html
Cameron In The Corps. Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Hey all, I found the internet but I don't have a lot of time so I am going to make this quick. Bullet points go! The cancha inauguration was amazing, our youth and the community of El Chorro made us look so good, they didn't really need us at all but it was nice of them to give us some of the credit. CBT ended, very sad, good times with good people. Definitely won't forget it. Got bed bug bites all over my body, not so fun. Batey 9 is surrounded by sugarc...

Cameron In The Corps: Blog 2.0
http://cameroncorps.blogspot.com/2011/02/blog-20.html
Cameron In The Corps. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. It has been more than a year since I have updated my blog and for that I am deeply sorry. Many of you (members of my family) have mentioned to me how much you had enjoyed reading my blog and wondered why I haven't been updating it. My third is and final excuse is simple: duncanpeabody.blogspot.com. Justin is best known for getting his front tooth knocked out by Duncan on the 4. I'm back, if you'll have me. It only took me 18 months to figure out tha...

Cameron In The Corps: Half-Marathon
http://cameroncorps.blogspot.com/2011/06/half-marathon.html
Cameron In The Corps. Monday, June 27, 2011. A group of volunteers ran in the Lowenbrau Half-Marathon yesterday in Santo Domingo. It was really fun to get together and participate in such a cool event, the race was really well-organized and had over 1,100 competitors. I had no idea that events such as that existed in the Dominican Republic, or that there was such a sub-culture of similar sporting events. I found out at the race about other events around the country, including triathlons and biathlons.

Thank G-d You’re Brown. On October 26, 2009 · Leave a Comment. The day kicks off with an awkward meet and greet where volunteers and PP’s are packed into a room and given the task of pairing up without any knowledge of what the other person looks like. To help take the edge off, we were provided with name tags and chalky tang for refreshment. And then there she was, Ana Rodriguez, plain as day. My PP was a short, chunky bundle of energy and was overjoyed when we made each other’s acquaintance. Oh Gracias...

I ve been in site for about three weeks now, and I am really beginning to love it here. this week I ll be spending some time in the capital with the rest of the volunteers celebrating Thanksgiving, the American way. Before I leave, I just wanted to give you a taste of what my first month in site has been like. I ve been having the youth from the Red take me around the community to introduce me to my neighbors, most of whom think...

Ryan in Paradise, from the UP to the DR. I've promised to keep friends and family up to date on what I'm doing in the Dominican Republic over the next couple years. The content of this blog does not represent the US Peace Corps (www.peacecorps.gov), it's just me! Tuesday, June 8, 2010. It’s here – a new blog entry! Dogs, Donations, Downpours. Not sure when the last time I wrote something on the blog was. Since elections it has been a bit slow on big news. Talk more about that later. I have been buying od...
