The Journey North

Our journey began somewhere in North London. With a cheese sandwich. As Ian was to later quote, We don't do these things because they are easy, we do them because they are hard. Later on, we found an angel. Suitably inspired, we went to Lindesfarne where we saw the sun and the moon together. However, it was late in the day and the the holy buildings of Holy Island were shut. Bring back St. Cuthbert! After that it was on to Berwick-upon-Tweed. For a luxurious bed and breakfast. And a few jars of ale.
