Story of Blair Atholl. Today in the Kastle. The 35th Scottish International Patrol Jamborette was held at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl, Perthshire, Scotland in July 2016. Scottish Staff arrived on Saturday 16th July,. Scottish Scouts arrived on Monday 18th July and. Overseas Contingents arrived at camp on Tuesday 19th July. All scouts departed on Friday 29th July and. All Staff left on Saturday 30th July. The Scottish Scouts and staff are offered home hospitality after the camp up to Wednesday 3rd August.

Story of Blair Atholl. Today in the Kastle. The Kastle is the social centre of the Jamborette and is named from the shape that it forms. It houses all the normal facilities of a small village, the Kastle Kafe, Kastle Kurrency, Korresondence, Kastle Kasbah and Kastle Kurrents as well as a meeting hall, theatre and Kinema. The Kafe has a plentiful supply of drinks, sweets and fruit for sale. Opening times 1300 - 1400 and 1900 - 2200. Evenings in the Kastle. Wednesday 20th July 2016. Thursday 21st July 2016.

Story of Blair Atholl. Today in the Kastle. The Range of Activities. The activities which will be available at the 2016 Blair Atholl Jamborette are listed below. Details of Adventure Activities. 18 older Scouts taking part in a 16 mile hike in to the hills to the north of the camp, camping out in one of the Glens. Hikers require boots or strong shoes and sleeping bags. Other equipment will be provided. Hikes start on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Blair Atholl Rescue Team (BART).

Great assistance was given to the first camp by the Perthshire Scouts who left the facilities of their County Camp in the same park.
