Organiser - Event Planning
http://event-planning.dunedinorienteering.org/organiser
Out of Town Maps. ONE-TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT. Make sure you have enough people to help you on the day. You will probably need at least three people all the time for normal club events (more for champs events or if start/finish areas are remote from the assembly area). The Planner and Controller have their own jobs to do and should not have to help. The Planner will bring the master maps, blank maps and control descriptions to the Event on the day. Print out some copies of the Event Participation list...

White Courses - Event Planning
http://event-planning.dunedinorienteering.org/planning/white-courses
Out of Town Maps. Courses must follow drawn linear features (tracks, fences, streams, distinct vegetation boundaries, etc.). A control site must be placed at every decision point (eg. a turning point, a track junction or a change in the type of linear feature - from following a track to following a stream). The Start Triangle shall be on a linear feature. If no such feature is available, then there must be a taped route all the way from the start to a linear feature (ie. the first control).
