For What Its Worth: Translating what a source says
http://katikatlowbar.blogspot.com/2011/11/translating-what-source-says.html
For What Its Worth. Thoughts I am willing to share with the world. Friday, November 11, 2011. Translating what a source says. This is perhaps the first old-fashioned print article I've written all semester. All my classes this semester are focused on other aspects of journalism, such as video, blogging, design and web. I've kind of forgotten that under some circumstances I like being a journalist and reporter. Maybe I shouldn't rule out reporting jobs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tori's thoughts ...

For What Its Worth: October 2011
http://katikatlowbar.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
For What Its Worth. Thoughts I am willing to share with the world. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. The real honor code. The real reason we can't go in bedrooms of the opposite sex or use the bathroom is cause it would decrease our chances of getting married. Think about it. If a guy walks into your bedroom and sees how messy or smelly it is, he might think twice. Girls, has your opinion of a guy change when you see his bathroom? Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Trying to be better. And in some respects, it is imp...

The McKinlay Family: April 2013
http://themckinlayfamily.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Steak and chicken fajitas and spanish rice. Mmmm! After dinner we all hung out and colored on the tablecloth. Mom's pretty retirement flowers. Just this cute, silly girl I know! Found this little surprise when making Olivia's bed. I wish I had video of me and Jay trying to catch it. It was very entertaining. Jay finally used his lizard whisperer skills (his words, not mine) and was able to catch it and let it go out back. The little people were thrilled to have Cosmo around. Kids LOVE getting dollars.

The Brown Family: March 2010
http://mikeandcarriebrown.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 18, 2010. We were so surprised on Friday the 12th to hear from Sawyer's NICU nurses that he would be coming home on Saturday! We had just been told Thursday night that it would be at least a few more days for him, so imagine our surprise when we were told we would finally get to take our little baby boy home with us a day later! We seriously had the hardest time! All the car seats we found had seven inches are more between the two points! And that is not even including a stroller! It is a...

Where in the World is the Gibson Family?: The Preschool Tour of New York City
http://davidgibsonfamily.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-preschool-tour-of-new-york-city.html
Where in the World is the Gibson Family? Tuesday, May 5, 2015. The Preschool Tour of New York City. David was attending a conference down in the city, so we decided to go a day early with him for a fun day. We parked near the temple and headed into Central Park. First stop, the Carousel. We thought ahead and brought the kids scooters, so we scootered through the park to the Central Park Zoo. We got a front row seat for the sea lion feeding. Then we scootered over to a playground to play for a while.

Where in the World is the Gibson Family?: 08/01/2013 - 09/01/2013

Where in the World is the Gibson Family? Thursday, August 22, 2013. Down time in Hawaii. After a very busy week, we needed a little down time at the vacation house. Bryson and John trying to play a game of pool with cheerleaders, Edward, Ethan, and Kadence. Then for a dip in the pool. And a round of Edward ball. Bryson ball doesn't work as well as it used to. Nathan and Rachel decided to go out for dinner and left Jane in our care. They'll know better next time. Hula Jane" (yes, it's a coconut bra).

Where in the World is the Gibson Family?: Snow Day!
http://davidgibsonfamily.blogspot.com/2015/02/snow-day.html
Where in the World is the Gibson Family? Monday, February 2, 2015. So David started us off with his specialty egg-in-a-hole breakfast. We have played several rounds of Monopoly Junior, A chutes and ladder kind of game, Spot it, and the twins played with the Uno Attack game flipping cards out at each other. I did take advantage of the falling snow to take some fun pictures of the kids. She was trying to blow the snow, but her blower isn't very powerful. Even Bryson let me take pictures of him. Yay!
