Totally Sound: Harnessing the power of a thousand suns (and one wii remote)
http://totallysound.blogspot.com/2010/08/harnessing-power-of-thousand-suns-and.html
The workblog of Edward Robert Millington. Harnessing the power of a thousand suns (and one wii remote). So Wii Remotes. They're tricky little buggers. Yes, they're an interesting tool, but only if they're used in an interesting way. This is the story of two rubbish ideas and, hopefully, one alright one. Regular viewers may recall how I started off dreaming about the possibilities of 3D space, the wiimote sonifying entire galaxies with a flick of its blah blah blah blah blah. Rubbish Idea 2: the wiiharp.

The workblog of Edward Robert Millington. Did You Ever Eat a Bat? It began life as a live piece for 3 flutes and stereo tape; then it was reimagined as a purely acousmatic piece diffused through four speakers; now, here is the stereo remix of the quad version of. Did You Ever Eat a Bat? Note: there's a lot of energy in the bass, so it might do to turn up your speakers. Like the man said, THIS FILM SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD. Down, down, down. Would the fall never come to an end! When suddenly, thump! Its not ...

http://totallysound.blogspot.com/2010/09/rwcmd-take-over-cardiff-arts-institute.html
The workblog of Edward Robert Millington. RWCMD take over Cardiff Arts Institute. The smell is worse here. In a terrifically sanitary fashion. Damp hair clings to your face, and by now you've given up trying to swat the midges that suck hungrily at every exposed inch of your flesh. Surely you've gone too far? You'll have seen it by now? Time to give up. This was a fool's errand, in any case. One foot, then another, emerge from the gloom beyond. The socks, too, were colourful once, but the ravages of ...

Totally Sound: June 2010
http://totallysound.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The workblog of Edward Robert Millington. A recitative summer: part one. And so, dear readers, Spring has sprung. And, as surely as eggs follow eggs, a young man's thoughts turn towards his Mmus recital. Having watched the RWCMD undergraduates do their inspirational thing last week, it's clear that I'm going to have to pull something not inconsiderable out of the bag this September, if I'm going to leave college with my head held anywhere much above my knock-like knees. Stay safe, everyone x. Thank you, ...

I like the fact that they call me Milligan, because that is the second name of the artist Spike Milligan, who is a person that I like. They say the following words, whilst giving me a mark of 3.6*. Attack continues to live here: www.myspace.com/edwardrmillington. On this scale, Elton John is worth 2 Joan Armatradings, but only 1/4 of a Motley Crue. Thursday, July 01, 2010.
