I just finished my first full week of work and I am back in Tamale to stock up on some supplies, use the internet, and catch up with some other volunteers. I have learned so much this week about the company I’m working with. Just to give you an overview…. Each field assistant is responsible for about 40 farmers.

The meeting will be held Friday, August 8th right after the farmers go for prayers. I ride my bike to and from work so I no longer have time to go running in the mornings before work, but I have managed to go jogging a few times in the afternoons if the sun has not taken too much out of me already. Jogging is my secret to keeping healthy here; that or I have just been incredibly lucky. The sunset one night outside of my compound in Gushei.
