Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Travel to Poi Pet. This morning we headed to CHO (Cambodia Hope Org.), and saw some great work they are doing here in Poi Pet. Another language lesson followed, when we then headed to lunch and enjoyed some excellent boiled rice garnished with what is now known as 'sewer bird'. Lots of love; Erik, Megan and Go-Fast-Red Brad. PS: Megan and Ella have chiggers :P. January 6, 2010 at 1:02 AM. Lol, bucket shower. sounds interesting. Yay Jarrod for winning the 4 hour bet! Do 50 for me!

Monday, January 4, 2010. Leaving on a jet plane. For all those keen followers and regular checkers of the blog we didn't want to disappoint. 11 people checked in, one bomb search and one confiscated bottle of sunscreen (Brad tried to argue that he was "pasty") later we made it to Gate 59 and are waiting to board (via a McDonalds stop and with cameras already clicking). Excitement levels high, not much conflict yet and we are all safe. Love you and talk soon,. January 8, 2010 at 6:27 PM. From all of us.

Monday, January 4, 2010. We have arrived safely in Bangkok in the very early hours of the morning. The flight was a bit bumpy, but we all survived. Jarrod was concerned he was going through menopause with his hot and cold flushes. As we speak the team is chilling at a little bar, Erik is embracing the food with a lovely chicken pad thai breakfast dish. We plan on hiring a mini bus to take us down to Poi Phet. Thursday, January 7, 2010. Yesterday we visited different missionaries and were able to see their work here in Poipet. We started off the morning at MMF's (Mercy Ministry Foundation) Hope centre and Happy House. We drove along a dusty, bumpy, country roads on an open air truck. Everyone was extremely dusty but Ella and Eric got a 'dirt on tan'!
