Monday, November 16, 2009. The zoo is a beautiful place for my family and me. We went to the zoo on Columbus Day weekend. It’s the best place I’ve ever been. I enjoyed seeing the different animals. The zoo here in Colorado Springs is pretty nice, too, but we dont have any flamingos. I would LOVE to see a flamingo! November 16, 2009 at 8:05 PM. What a special thing to do with your family. I still have happy memories of going to the zoo with my family when I was a kid and now with my own kids.
