It’s currently being hosted on the Hayti Heritage Center. This is a really important part of Durham’s history, and this area was largely destroyed when the Durham Freeway (147) was built.

Monday, February 23, 2009. Running to Keep Up! Whew, every time I manage to get these photos online, they are already out of date. The kitchen cabinets, for example, are now painted a dark, chocolate brown - well, except for a few places that need a third coat. It looks so beautiful! As soon as they're dry and the white knobs are on, I'll post a new photo, but this is from a week or so ago. A few other things happening around here. The new siding got primed. still haven't decided on an exterior color.

Now that I've intentionally backed off my workload a bit, due to back problems, we've been taking some more time to enjoy it. We went to the state fair with my parents, sister, and bro-in-law, for a little local flavor, fried foods, and wild rides. After that, we spent a long weekend in Portland, OR, with one of my best friends, Meredith.
