The world of Homerclees. This is what I'm doing and thinking most of the time. Monday, August 31, 2015. Sunday, August 30, 2015. Del Ray for Mexican food tonight, then the Fairy Godmother for dessert. A lovely selfie from Dylan and Mae. Rachel, Finn and Mae got in late last night and the boys stayed up late messing around in the basement. I got them up early and marched them about 4 miles to see a half dozen monuments and memorials on the Mall. Everyone seems to be having fun. Monday, August 24, 2015.

Observations from the Powder Room: July 2006
http://nikabolid.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Observations from the Powder Room. Monday, July 24, 2006. Today was a very sad day. My friend from work, Bill Anderson, passed away and we're all heartbroken. Last Thursday Bill was in a terrible bike accident and he died today. Bill and his wife had a beautiful baby boy last Tuesday and they we supposed to bring the little one home on Thursday. That morning Bill and his father-in-law went for a bike ride and something happened and Bill went over his handle bars. Bill we'll miss you! Sunday, July 09, 2006.

Observations from the Powder Room: October 2006
http://nikabolid.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Observations from the Powder Room. Saturday, October 14, 2006. A visit to the Hospital. Well, I thought that would get your attention. Neither of the boys were very excited about getting their shots. Sam, who always wants to go first, volunteered to let Dylan get his shot first. Wasn't that sweet? Everyone marveled at how big the boys had gotten. I told them we would be back on November 6th with a thank you cake. Although it felt like a victory going back to the NICU with two healthy and happy boys it al...

Observations from the Powder Room: June 2007
http://nikabolid.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Observations from the Powder Room. Thursday, June 21, 2007. Posted by Nikaboli @ 7:12 PM. Tuesday, June 05, 2007. Sad Farewell to a Good Kitty. My very sweet kitty died today and my heart hurts! Poor Norm, he has been with Spart since they were just a few weeks old, now he's on his own and I think he's sad too. What makes today even worse is that Spart was not actually dead, he was just very close and we figured this out at around 6pm. When we were saying our goodnights Sam started asking a lot of questi...

Observations from the Powder Room. Thursday, June 29, 2006. Did You Just Put Something in Your Nose? Not the question you want to be asking when you have only been home for 30 minutes. I got home about 15 minutes late tonight after sitting in traffic, probably because it started to rain again. When I walked in Blanca told me that she had already feed the kids. WE LOVE BLANCA! At this point I said, did you just put something in your nose? Sam was trying to comfort Dylan which was very cute. We get to the ...

Observations from the Powder Room: November 2006
http://nikabolid.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Observations from the Powder Room. Wednesday, November 08, 2006. Dylan is a Trooper. All I can say is that Dylan is an amazing little trooper. For those of you who didn't know, Dylan had to have his two front teeth removed today. The entire procedure only took about 20 minutes and Dylan was pretty drunk when it was over. We were told to wake him every 30 minutes, walk him around and make him drink some water. Posted by Nikaboli @ 12:57 PM. View my complete profile. How Did I Get In Your Belly?

Observations from the Powder Room: December 2006
http://nikabolid.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Observations from the Powder Room. Sunday, December 31, 2006. We lost a friend yesterday and I had to flush him down the toilet. Blanca gave the boys two goldfish for Halloween 2005 and to my great surprise they survived for over a year. Yesterday I went to feed them and one (either Sam or Dylan - the boys named them) was floating. I tried to get Mark to help me with the disposal but he left the dirty deed in my hands. More 2006 observations to come. Posted by Nikaboli @ 4:49 PM. View my complete profile.
