Friday, September 08, 2006. A very special time. Then it was home and a change in outfits, suits and formal dress for me and back to the hotel for the evening reception which was great fun.lets just say that monday was a bit hard and I had a meeting at 10 (remind me in future not to schedule one for 10 in future after a wedding). Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Two weeks to go till CT. Well where have the weeks gone. Between work and helping out with some talks the days just seem to fly by. Went to pearl jam on saturday night with Jamie, which was fantastic (they played a lot of favs and that always makes the concert worthwhile.) and have Robbie this weekend (much to Bills horror, hehe! Saturday, January 13, 2007. Bill and I are engaged. Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that Bill and I are engaged! You can go to bills blog. And you will see pics. It was very romantic and happened at the "Waterfront" in CT. It was amazing as Bill asked a friend to take photos of us which is how we met and then put his hand on mine and said will you marry me and of course I said YES! Well the smile hasnt left my face. The hard part is not to have him here now. Will email with more news soon.

Friday, August 18, 2006. Well sorry for having been so silent on this for a few weeks. We went to a brewery (colonial) which was fantastic and again somewhere new. So all in all lots of wine was bought and sampled and our wine collection is growing! Simmos had a compulsory ice cream stop tooo and so did the cheese factory, yumm! Saturday, December 02, 2006. I must say that whenever he is here next time i am there. He has such an amazing energy on the stage and was able to just keep the crowd with him all night. He performed for much longer than usual and by 1030 i think was rather shattered. So all in all a fantastic time and hope that he is back soon. Saturday, June 24, 2006. Hmmmm where did the week go. The eternal question as one comes to the end of the week.a week filled with my boy's birthday (me wishing that i could be there for that! Monday, July 31, 2006. 4 sleeps to go. Well there are 4 sleeps to go till someone is home.(hmmmm not that i am counting or anything) will just be camped out at the airport from friday morning.(nah not really we have lots of work to do). Wednesday, May 31, 2006. It has been a quiet week so far. The meeting with my supervisor about my phd went well which was really relieved about as we were stressing a bit so that has allowed me some scope as to which direction im going in and also the deadlines that i have.
