Sunday, September 2, 2007. Relief Society 1st Councilor. This morning around 11 am, my phone rings. I don't recognize the number so I answer with a hint of unsurety in my voice. It's the bishop asking if I could come to church early, around 12:30-12:40 so he could talk with me. I had to pick some one up on my way there, so I gave her a call and arranged to meet her earlier than planned. During sacrament, we were recognized by the ward, and after church we were set apart. You will do a great job!

Wednesday, October 17, 2007. Elisabeth had her baby boy last night about 11pm. He's 6 lb 11 oz and 19 inches long. Elisabeth said that it was a fast delivery and even though they haven't picked a name yet, he's a happy, healthy boy. Elisabeth texted me this picture and I forwarded it to a friend who emailed to me. I'm sure that Elisabeth will have more pictures later on. Monday, October 1, 2007. AhhmmCan we slow the world down a little? Can anyone believe it's the end of August already? Once upon a time.

Monday, July 30, 2007. Summer fun for the Smiths. We are having a great summer. In an attempt at keeping every one's. Sanity and getting the kids out of the house every day we have spent some quality time at the pool, library, grocery store, parks, Zoo and at Busch Gardens. This is us at Busch Gardens this past weekend. Check out that tummy, I have never been one to acquire. A cute little outtie. Belly button. maybe someday. I am 27 ish. Weeks and have just entered the getting awkward. I love ya all.

Time of my life. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. The YSA had their annual Luau on July 9th and know what was the best part ever! Valory and Julie were both visiting and were able to go with me. We ate some food. Valory and Julie did some dancing. They are hard to keep under control sometimes. Emma joined up in posing for the camera - I love the crazy things I can make people do for a camera. Sittin' the dock of the bay. This was my I'm playing with my camera and Emma is a willing subject. She's so cute.

Time of my life. Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Amy's Birthday Week - Day One :). Yes, we celebrate not just birthdays, but birthday weeks (or months if you're feeling kind of ambitious.) It's a big birthday for me this year and all my sisters (plus an adopted sister of sorts in the form of my college roommate Valory) are all coming out to help me CELEBRATE! Becky and Sarah arrived late Sunday night. Monday morning was day one of my birthday week celebration :). By the Potomac on our way to the FDR memorial.

Time of my life. Thursday, April 15, 2010. Second Annual Peeps Diorama. Reed has this obsession with Peeps.okay maybe not an obsession, but a fascination perhaps? Either way last year he decided that they would make a great foundation for a Diorama. 100s of peeps were purchased and the fun ensued. So much fun that we had the 2nd Annual Peeps Diorama this year. :). All the sickening sweetness and sugar. The art masters hard at work. Peeps Bobsled - Team USA. Tragic accident and Big Bird meets his end.

Time of my life. Sunday, July 4, 2010. 4th of July - West Falls Church Metro Style. After Reed's little birthday celebration we headed over to West Falls Church Metro stop to the top of the parking garage for some firewroks. I had great anticipations of taking some AWESOME pictures with my fun new camera. These are the few picture I managed before it's death. Playing card games waiting for the fireworks to start. The 'distant' fireworks :) We could see fireworks for several cities from the parking garage.
