Yet another miniature wargamming journal. My progress with Batman miniatures has been painfully slow. Which is really a little sad, as they are spectacular miniatures and do paint up very nicely. This was the second time we played Dust Tactics and we only missed one rule once this time (entry). Next time we will be perfect! Then we shouldn't have any problems with any rules. Playing Dust Tactics in Stockholm. Onsdag 15 januari 2014. Victory Bridge scenario 3. This scenario was a catastrophe for me. I knew as soon I read the scenario description that it would be hard. I was supposed to charge over a bridge with my Germans. They are tough, but can't shoot longer than 4 squares. The SSU on the other hand could shoot 6 squares. Playing Dust Tactics in Stockholm. Tisdag 7 januari 2014. The first unit I painted was the Sturmpionieren. I have never been good at painting snow so instead I decided to give them camouflage cloths. After looking around what they used for camouflage pattern I choosed Leibermuster. Much because it was the last one they introduced, and it looked easy enough to paint. :-). I needed some good close combat troops that could kill SSU trash cans so I bought these and a few Zombies. I was extremely impressed by the result; it was as good as they said it would be. I re-based some cowboys for a friend. I did it like this:. 1) First I painted the base with dark brown and Stirland Mud. 2) Then I painted on a thick layer of Agrellan Earth. 3) After it had dried for an hour or two I glued on one (1) turf of grass and a few small rocks. Playing Dust Tactics in Stockholm. Söndag 5 januari 2014. First try - Recon in Force. Our first game was Recon in Force - the first scenario from Victory Bridge. I played Germans while Tomas played the SSU. We didn't really follow the rules for the size of forces; instead we took approximately 75 points each. I got one small walker and two infantry squads and Tomas one big walker and one infantry squad. During the first round we just advanced forward. Instead of getting destroyed Hans shoot and hit!
