Wayland Township board members agreed upon a budget for the upcoming fiscal year that won’t require an increase in taxes at their Wednesday, Feb. 17 meeting. The proposed budget, which goes before the community at a hearing scheduled for March 17, would take effect in April. Township supervisor Roger VanVolkinburg shared the same fear.
