I've been in and around the city the past couple days and have had some time to think about this crazy summer of mine. It's been great meeting the people I have and seeing the places I've been. I've been taking advantage of free time to explore and venture out into less urban parts of the city. Florence itself is great, but the true Italian experience lies in the small towns and countryside of the European landscape. The pictures included are of local spots near and around our apartment and close by school.
