Some of translated poems I collected include works of U T'ak, Yi Pangwon, ., etc. Was one of the first Koryo scholars to be concerned with neo-Confucianism. When most of the sijo written by scholars are lacking in humor, U's work contains humor and ironical laugh.

Celebrity death - was: hunter's death. 이은주 (Lee, Eun-Joo) .자살. Hunter's death announced on Feb 21st, and Eun-Joo's on 22nd. How frail the life force really is. sigh. Like hemingway, i was told. It's been a while since i heard hemingway being mentioned. Can't handle the fact that he can't write anymore? The pain of inactivity due to the recovering injury too much?

With all the frenzy on tuesday, 19" LCD from IBM finally arrived. When returning from work today, i finally was able to take out my old generic PC that had RH 8 almost 2 years ago, hunted for a mouse and keyboard covered with dusts, and got started on getting it to work. After lunch, and doing some more cooking and dishes, headed to downton on MUNI 38. Having MUNI monthly pass, it seem one of inexpensive way to spend quality time in the city. With the memorial day weekend stretching to monday holiday, I was sure there's be some special sales going on and shoppers hunting these holiday bargains.
