Wednesday, March 12, 2014. THE EASY WAY TO MAKE A PILLOW COVER WITH A ZIPPER. I used to be strictly an "envelope" pillow cover maker. I always thought putting a zipper in would be too hard, but I finally tried it and actually prefer it now to the other method! Today, I'll show you how easy it can be. Stitch the zipper with a regular stitch, using the zipper foot for your machine. You want the stitch to be very close to the zipper coils. Go slowly and make sure the center of the zipper is always r...Now y...

Dwell by Cheryl Client Reviews
http://www.dwellbycheryl.com/about/client-reviews
Working with Dwell By Cheryl was, by far, one of the most enriching experiences to date! We shopped several interior designers, and we chose to wait for Cheryl. Her artistic eye and sensitivity to the needs of her clients is unheard of. She allowed us to be a part of her process, understanding that we needed a beautiful (but functional) space. We were actually considering selling our home, but actually fell in love with it all over actually again post-install! She did that for us! My husband and I greatl...

http://www.dimplesandtangles.com/2015/07/patio-project-plans.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2015. PATIO PROJECT {THE PLANS}. From some of the responses I received when I posted this photo. On Instagram, I gathered that you all might have thought we were just doing a little patio decor makeover. Well, my friends, you were wrong. We're doing a major patio overhaul! However, we do entertain fairly often, and decided that we wanted to extend our space outdoors and expand the usable space there for a spacious, functional outdoor living area. As I mentioned in my first patio post,.

Saturday, August 6, 2016. So, I was cruising thru Buzzfeed a couple of days ago today. And saw this amazing delicious looking dish. All day long I thought about it, and dreamed how easy it was and hoped it tasted as good as it look. I rushed to the grocery store and found the 4 simple ingredients needed to make this dish for. Chicken Breast(the thinner breast works well). Lay chicken breast in a large baking dish. Top each piece of chicken with a spoon full of pesto or enough to cover. Links to this post.

Friday, September 11, 2015. I love buying the candied almonds, nuts and cashews at the Southern Christmas Show every year. So, I thought how hard would it be to make my own at home. It took 3 seconds to google on my IPad and within 10 minutes,. I was scarfing down delicious candied almonds. Here's the recipe I found online. 1 Cup of sugar. 1/2 Cup of water. 2 cups whole almonds, nuts or cashews. 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon. Bring the sugar, water and cinnamon to a boil and add the nut of your choice.

Saturday, January 9, 2016. Back in the summer we went to Todd, NC and spent the day tubing on the New River. Let me just say that tubing is one of my favorite things to do, in the dog days of the summer. We use a shuttle company that takes us up the river and then, we float down to our starting point. Lazy, slow and the beauty of the mountains is so relaxing. The only step not shown is spraying your rocks with a poly to protect them and make them shine. Links to this post. http://queenofmycastle3.blogspot.com/2015/12/simple-hand-scrub-with-gift-jar.html
Saturday, December 12, 2015. Simple Hand Scrub with Gift Jar. Have you ever been in a restaurant bathroom and noticed that hand scrub they keep at the sink? Well, I have and it feels so good on my hands especially in cold months. I decided to make some this year for gifts for my friends. I really do prefer a handmade gift over store bought, it just seems more personal. Mix oil and salt together until all is mix well then add a few drops of essential oils. Now on to the cute jars that hold the scrub.
