Thursday, September 16, 2010. Micah had his 4 month check up on Wednesday! He weighs 17 pounds and is 27 inches long.looking like he'll be staying in the 95th percentile :). A few new things going on in his world now. He can roll over and he loves it! Could he be any. Almost) sleeping through the night :). And no he doesn't sleep in our bed! Good thing we don't have one! He's usually content if he's chewing on someone's fingers. Last but not least.he is the most precious boy ever! View my complete profile.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. We had a great Easter Weekend with family. Last Thursday I had a conversation with a friend talking about Easter and why we celebrate.I'm thankful for times like that. I can so easily get rapped up in the business that comes along with every holiday, I forget the true meaning! Thursday night we had a few families over for a Passover meal, Friday was Good Friday service, and Sunday was Easter - followed by lunch at my Grandmother's house. Micah at his first Easter egg hunt!

Wednesday, August 17, 2011. We visited Dylan's family in Missouri all last week. It was so great to see everyone! Micah's first trip to the zoo. Dylan's mom LOVES giraffes so she was excited for Micah to be able to feed them! Micah got LOTS of attention while we were there.I think he would like this all the time :). Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Baths,bubbles, and more. We have been staying fairly busy with Addison in preschool and Ryan at HIS office. We do always manage to have time for bubbles and baths! They LOVE bubbles and bath.not together. Addison is teaching Cohen how to blow bubbles but he still finds it tastier to put it in his mouth. Tastes so gross! I don't know how he stands it? I think their favorite part about the bath is running around naked after with a towel on their heads. The Pea and The Pod.

Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Here is a little update on where we are in life. We live in Conover but the neighboring town is called Hickory, only 10 min away. We are buying a dental practice in Hickory and Ryan takes ownership at the beginning of August. We are so excited and at peace with this big decision. We have been praying for two years for direction and a plan for Ryan's career and the Lord never fails! He has provided for us this entire time and this answer to prayer gives us such grateful hearts!

Thursday, March 17, 2011. Feeling like a clueless mom right now! The book doesn't say how long to leave her in there. I mean if I follow the rule of one minute for how old she is then she will not have calmed down in one minute. Is the goal to get her to calm herself down or to do one minute and take her out.but then what? Do you comfort her because she is sooooooo upset she can't calm herself down or do you just distract her by reading a book? What did you do when they threw tantrums? We are still alive!

Friday, September 28, 2012. Tough times and sweet moments. This age with both kids is an incredibly tough age for us right now! So exhausting fighting the same battles every day and feeling so defeated at the end of the day. I have found myself having no where else to go but the Word of God which is not a bad pace to go. Ryan's dad is a photographer (LifeSong photography/videography) and took all the pictures that I have recently posted! It was crazy trying to get pictures of everyone but he had all the patience in the world! Who wouldn't want to be a part of this fun family! This right here inspires me to have three kids! I just pray for strength, patience and grace for each new day and am trying to enjoy each moment as I know this stage is soooo short! Caleb loved hunting for Easter Eggs. It was his first time. Monday, September 26, 2011. We took Zach to his first Padres baseball game tonight, he sort of lost interest after a couple innings but, was thrilled about his new hat. Friday, August 12, 2011.
