Thanksgiving was spent at grammy's house this year. i look forward to that stuffing for MONTHS. i really do love the thanksgiving holiday: i am not expected to buy a ton of crap we don't need, you get TWO days off from work, the whole holiday is based on a family meal and you are NEVER judged when you go back for thirds. this is truly a great holiday. We gave ivy a name and a blessing this month- and we were lucky to have lots of family and friends here to celebrate this event with us. here is how we spent the day. Sunday, October 27, 2013. And so life turns to christmas. Post thanksgiving, EVERYTHING turns to christmas. the parties start, the decorations go up, the wallets empty. we enjoyed every minute of it! And ivy found a spot to chill. Finally, we had it loose and tied to the top of the car. we were ready to roll! This experience was a lot of fun- so much so that we look forward to doing it again. we loved our little tree. And then the parties started! Cade's cousin rudi was married in moab in february and we were lucky enough to getaway for the weekend to celebrate. the weather was awesome. the company was fabulous. and the scenery was perfect. we loved it. The wedding happened in the monticello temple with a ring ceremony held at window arch. it. was. perfect. That night, we danced the night away. the girls really got into it and danced their little hearts out. Your best friend, Ashley. And the big news to start of february.

Four years in the books. i always look forward to may 9th and the opportunity i have to reflect on one of the best days of my life. everyday living is crazy and i feel like cade and i are busier than ever. i welcomed the chance we had to take a time out from it all. Next, cade and i drove up the canyon to watch the city at sunset. we chatted, watched hikers, found our house, and enjoyed the quiet. then we made out. it was awesome. Couldn't love them more.
