Monday, August 11, 2014. In mid July, I asked Newschoolers for information regarding summer skiing on Mount Timpanogos. On July 20th, someone told me that Gunsight at Alta still had snow. I decided to go there before Mount Timpanogos partly because it is closer to where I live and a shorter hike and partly because I knew that the snow on Gunsight wouldn't last as long.
