Tuesday, January 29, 2013. I mean, it's about as thoughtful as it comes from a 2 year old. Finley prepared breakfast (at 5pm) for Macie. She padded the seat with a pillow, and gathered the best tasting letter magnets in a colander. A side of goldfish crackers, and THAT is the PERFECT breakfast. Saturday, September 7, 2013. Take your daughter(s) to work day. This summer, Eric let me get away to the lake with some girlfriends and he took our kiddos for a weekend. Normally he works weekends so, I was surprised I was even able to go. I have to say though, having a retreat like that was good for any momma's soul! Wednesday, February 27, 2013. What a difference (not quite) a year makes! Soo it would be pretty bad if I never ordered Macies kindergarten photo right? I take so many pictures- I didn't think it was necessary. But when I was cleaning out some files this month, I stumbled upon the proof and order form for the picture that was only taken a few months ago. I am soooo glad I was still able to order online. Monday, November 18, 2013. Today we did hear that Macie won. Won an oven mitt as a consolation prize. So, next year, my friends, we are going to try again, it'll be bigger and better. Martino's never give up! We are so blessed and are humbled by our friends and family, near and far, who have not only voted for Macie (some daily) but also many who have spread the word! Seems like everywhere we have gone this last month, someone would say to Macie, "Haven't I seen you in a cooking video?
