Once again, a mind full of many things and nothing at all, seemingly all at once. oh where to begin, when naught is fully at hand. Have you ever held the head of a newborn calf and helped it drink for the first time? Watched that calf tumble as it learns to walk, learns to stretch its limbs and realize their ability? Causing me to guess and rethink. Every action, every look, every word. I can't even sweat it out. It just goes back to you. The biggest fear is being alone. But more than that I want you to smile. I'd give it all up for you. Even though you're not sure it's worth it. But I know otherwise. And someday you might see.

Canadian Reformed Youth Conferences. Objects in the rearview mirror and things too close to see. Sunday, August 10, 2003. This song was recommended to me by Andie. I'm really liking it. It's by Evanescence. Dear my love, haven't you wanted to be with me. And dear my love, haven't you longed to be free. I can't keep pretending that I don't even know you. And at sweet night, you are my own. We're leaving here tonight. There's no need to tell anyone. They'd only hold us down. So by the morning light. It's a...

Later we were walking by this homeless guy who was nurturing his four pet rats on his arm. That was.weird. Where have they come from? Who are they going home to? What is their life story? It may seem like a strange notion. It kind of is, I guess. I'll let you know how it is going.

At Witview we started into the wheat field today, but it was a bit green underneath towards the middle, so the combine had to stop about a third of the way in. We still managed to get 3 gravity wagons down to the elevators, but they were only at 2nd grade level. Still can't get over the fact that Laura is going to Ireland for an entire YEAR!
