The Dynasplint is used initially with minimum tension for short periods (for half an hour, several times a day) for the treatment of contractures. Wearing times are gradually and successively increased up to the point where the Dynasplint is worn only at nighttime. During the period that the patient is being treated with the Dynasplint – usually three months – the system tension is gradually increased until therapeutic objectives have been attained.
