Thursday, August 11, 2011. I have written before about how well the Thais do Mothers Day which is celebrated tomorrow, the birthday of HRH Queen Sirikit สิริกิติ์มหาราชินี. Today every school in Thailand will have organised Mothers Day events ahead of tomorrow's holiday, (thanks Ma'am! And of course these took on much greater significance for us today as Benedict was involved courtesy of his nursery. I think his teachers did too! Thursday, July 21, 2011. And on it goes. I can follow events on The Guardian's. Website which has an excellent rolling blog and I have always had respect for The Telegraph's. Journalism so I dip in there and also The New York Times. Which has broken important parts of the story. I can even tune into BBC Radio 4 which really is Nirvana! Monday, February 28, 2011. Benny loves to play in dirt! A few days ago I managed to stand on some thorns while walking barefooted along a beach. Yesterday, Sunday, I had to pay a visit to the local hospital to have the "foreign bodies" cut out. Today I am in pain! However it has been seen to and the discomfort will pass. I am Tokyo bound Sunday night for a first visit to Japan. I am very excited about the prospect the only downside being Luna and Benny are not coming: we had less money than I thought!

Monday, August 12, 2013. My lower left leg and foot - cellulitis. I feel well enough to say that at long last I have finally turned the corner on my recent brush with death.
