When studying night club pictures on the Danish site DKBN.dk I found a difference in how young boys and girls pose in front of the camera of the party photographer. In the photographic series DKBN Phantoms. I have created four images, each consisting of ten different photographs from different night clubs the very same night somewhere in Denmark. . American sites - Mass produced 'tourist artefacts form the 50es. Consists of photographs from mass-produced tourist 3d view master images. The photographs, which are mostly from the early 50s, show now well-known American sites and landscape monuments. When the images are removed from their original context they change appearance and lose their importance of site specific documentation, and instead create other narratives which rely on the beholders memories and experiences. .

You cannot see the wind. You cannot see the wind is the title of a Danish children’s song which is about the wind that you cannot see, but how we by observing its effect on things, and through its sounds can get indications of it. In the photographic image we cannot hear the wind, nor physically feel it, but instead detect its affect on the landscape it moves through. 70x 55 cm and 45x45 cm.
