The Color Yellow (first of three parts): dyslexiamania

http://dyslexiamania.livejournal.com/11521.html

Handog Ng Pilipino Sa Mundo. The Color Yellow (first of three parts). The color yellow has been on my mind since Saturday. I am depressed because I don't have a yellow shirt. Instead, I have to use the traditional black shirt to express my grief for the passing of a woman who mattered a lot not only to this nation, but to me. The color of the new hero is yellow. Because yellow acknowledges our fear. But it also tells us that we can rise above it. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post.

Three Encounters with Cory: dyslexiamania

http://dyslexiamania.livejournal.com/11840.html

Three Encounters with Cory. Three Encounters with Cory. Why am I so affected by Cory’s death? What stake do I have now that she is gone? Did I have any memories of her aside from those which I watched on the television and read in the newspapers and magazines? I have seen in person three of the four post-EDSA presidents. I saw FVR during an EDSA II rally. I shook hands with GMA in 2002 as she came out of a movie house. I have seen Cory Aquino, on three occasions. She was an underdog. Post a new comment.

Poem Post 3: Never Was. Dedicated to how people treat me - like nothing. You thought that I. I that you thought. But you thought wrong. You thought I was always at your side. I never began s. O I cannot end. I never was there less so as. I never saw the light because I was never seen. I never understood what anything did mean. You thought I was there for you. I couldn't, can't, will never see. I couldn't, can't, will never be. For how can one be. If one was never. BlackIce last needed a hug at 5:34:00 PM.

The old continent – Martin Perez

http://martinperez.asia/the-old-continent

Today is the first day of my university s Christmas holiday. According to my lesson plan classes don t resume until January 6th. Unlike other years, I won t be celebrating this year s Christmas with my family. Actually, we ve never been more separated then this year: a little over 10.000km! Although this makes me feel a bit melancholic, I ve to think abut the upside: within 48 hours I ll be walking on the famous Plaza Mayor in Madrid and visiting the Torre the Belem in Lisbon. In Lisbon →.

In Lisbon – Martin Perez

http://martinperez.asia/in-lisbon

We arrived in Lisbon. On Thursday morning. Our plane was moving quite a bit during landing, due to the heavy winds. Quite scary. After we got our luggage we hopped on the train to the city centre. Our hotel is located in the Baixa part of Lisbon, which is basically the commercial centre. The first day we didn t do much: we walked around in the city centre, took some photos. Lisbon is a beautiful city, very classy but modern at the same time. Parts of th city actually remind me a bit of Quezon.

Being Martin Perez – Martin Perez

http://martinperez.asia/being-martin-perez

Being blessed with a common name has some major disadvantages in the digital era. Starting a personal blog for example: your name is likely already registered by someone else. In my case, the.com .net and .org versions were already registered so I started searching for another suitable extension. There are still plenty of country codes available (like .ph for example) but I don t want to limit my blog to one particular country. That s why I decided on martinperez.asia. And later renamed to The Lesson Plan.

A lot of shit at once. I've been taking a lot of shit from myself these days and really, it's just all so damn fuckin' stupid grabe. First of all, there's all this Humanities Week stuff. It isn't at all humane; the "celebration" should be In. Let's all give more things na dapat gawin ng mga studyante, tapos let's watch them fail miserably in trying to do them! OHZGHJLW QK WH ‘OK, JIBHGB. Tapos there's the fact na galit na Camia sa 'kin yeah, galing, 'no? Badly, but then if I do, I'll only be even more fr...

Suffer more, sophomore. I'm scared. Very scared. Tomorrow is the day I begin my life as a second year high school student. The day that I return to what I left just 2 months ago. School. You: why are you scared? Why am I scared? No, 'tis not the teachers. The teachers at my school are fairly competent and actually able to encourage students to study. It's not the students, either. Even with all the enemies, rivalries, backstabbing, backbiting, lying, and cheating. You: *blink blink* Wha? I mean the p a.

Rejoice. I have posted. A good artist, a generous friend, and a reminder of what I missed - my childhood. Somehow, 'yung kabalbalan mo made me laugh. You defied all description of human. Yun nga lang, minsan, 'di kita maintindihan. Never mind that. I'm sure I can trust this person 81%. You are human enough to make mistakes, and you admit to them. At least ikaw, you try to belong - 'di tulad ko. But sometimes, try to understand that people won't always laugh, that you won't always be welcomed. Pero 'yung ...

DyslexiaLuresOK's worldwide interface. Just another WordPress.com site. So…Why does dyslexia lure? November 3, 2010. So, the first entry on my first blog. I think I’m supposed to talk about why I’m doing this, what my world view is and how often I’ll be updating. Well, the truth is that earlier tonight, I found myself leaving a comment on a blog ( here. It’s not often I feel the urge to write in public (hence the Twitter.
