The Wild Vees: May 2008
http://wildvees.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. I will not slack on my blog. I will not slack on my blog. I will not. I'm very sorry, dear readers, I have been neglecting the blog! We have been very busy and wild Vees in the last few weeks. and things are not about to slow down! I can't believe how tall he's getting! Here he is taking a nap on a hot Delaware afternoon. Pound of dirt before you die? And ran out to find a dirty-mouthed little baby. He was actually chewing on something. The scene of the crime. Sampson was in the sh...

The Wild Vees: March 2008
http://wildvees.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 29, 2008. Sampson's first Easter Sunday! We had the cute outfit all picked out with navy dockers and short-sleeved polo with a beautiful owl sweater. We dressed him and made it to church on time. Jimmy and I were playing in the band so Auntie Colleen held him. Ten minutes into the service, he peed all over his outfit (and Auntie Colleen)! Monday, March 17, 2008. Eat, Drink, and Be Sampson. The last day BS (Before Sampson). Was I really THAT big? How did I move? Saturday, March 8, 2008.

The Wild Vees: February 2009
http://wildvees.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 12, 2009. The weather is getting very nice here in Delaware and we've been spending more time outdoors. Last weekend, we took a family outing to the park. Sampson ran around like a wild man, practicing his jumping and climbing skills. We held him up to the monkey bars but he did not quite get the idea of holding himself up. His favorite is the swing! He finds every swing back and forth thrilling. He's all smiles the entire time and aren't those cheeks just irresistible?

The Wild Vees: November 2007
http://wildvees.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 27, 2007. It's getting cold out here on the east coast! And apparently, it's the time of year when Sampson stores things in his cheeks! I've been told that I had the squirrely cheeks too as a baby. Sorry kid! Squirrely or not, who wouldn't want to be snuggly in fleece from hoodie to toe? Sammy certainly enjoyed the outfit when we ventured out into the cold this week. He is three months old now and really growing quickly! I'm a proud Oma. Monday, November 19, 2007. I usually stay up espe...

Tuesday, May 5, 2009. How many Vennard men does it take to tile a bathroom floor? Four, if you could Dad's tools! Jimmy, Dann, and Sampson successfully tiled our bathroom floor over the weekend. I spent the weekend planting ninja vegetable plants among the decorative grasses. I got permission to plant my veggies in the ground this year instead of in containers on my porch. Sampson helped by collecting the weeds I pulled and well, attempting to sweep the dirt. Oh, also by walking through the puddles.

Monday, February 25, 2008. So I Thought I Could Dance. Well my good friend Christina and I decided to take our place in the realm of reality television. We are embarrassingly HUGE fans of the show So You Think You Can Dance. And well, we did think we could dance. Evidently, we were mistaken! Christina was riding shotgun and in charge of the music, and Sampson was sleeping in the back. We listened to A Chorus Line. To inspire us to live the life of a dancer! Very chipper at 7:30am! We got red wrist bands!

The Wild Vees: Playdates
http://wildvees.blogspot.com/2009/04/playdates.html
Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Over the weekend we enjoyed a pizza playdate with Sampson's friend Allison. They had not seen each other in almost a year (which was the fault of their parental units! It took a little warming up, but soon they were fast friends again. They babbled on together and shared toys. Turns out, they both love to climb the stairs. He tested out a few really neat chairs carved from tree trunks. He really loved them! Any wood workers out there? He mostly went down the little slides, and th...
