After the drivers briefing, all Pro-Am drivers headed out onto the track for 1.5 hours of practice. The weather was nice, quite warm and the track was bone dry, so ideal conditions. More of my photos found on. Well, my first drift day of 2015 was last week, I suppose I should update this a little! Before I get onto the talks about Santa Pod, a few days before I swapped out the old oil cooler for the new Mishimoto cooler and new AN10 fittings. It wasn’t too much of a problem, even doing the AN10 fittings in-situ rather than on a bench. About an hour later, it was all done. I also finally got round to installing a proper catch can, along with AN10 fittings on that too. What can I say?

I got into the swing of things really quickly, the car was an absolute joy to drive hard. I perhaps got too into it too quickly, and ended up in the gravel twice in my 1st session! More of my photos found on. After Finalboss, one of the issues I kept finding on my car was the turbo/manifold nuts kept coming loose. They came loose so badly at Finalboss that it actually blew the gasket out, meaning I had to run most of the event with no turbo/manifold gasket at all. It was also super difficult actually getting to the nuts, so some things had to change! His skills was quickly shown in the quality of his work, it was pure welding porn!
