This my own special twist on an age-old southwest dish. Whenever I make it I use as many organics as well as local ingredients as possible. I will also tell you that I never measure anything when I cook. I go with what looks and tastes best which may be different depending on my mood, so these proportions may not be exactly as much as I use, but they are a close guess. Most drycleaners use Perchloroethylene, a toxic chemical that contributes to smog. Look for drycleaners that offer alternatives. Instead of using sprays or chemical powders, try sprinkling a liberal amount of baking soda. Let it sit for ten to fifteen minutes, and vacuum it up. Hmmmi knew about the anti-bacterial soap, but i had no idea about the dry cleaners.i'll have to start looking for a new dry cleaner. do you usually have to go in and ask them if they use perchloroethylene?
