McKinnon Gang: November 2010
http://mckinnonsa.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 29, 2010. It's evident from these pictures that Kate loves her birthday present. I just adore these pictures. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. However, Kate had terrible reflux. It was so bad that she couldn’t sleep flat on her back. We had to either hold her or elevate her in order for her to sleep. And then there were the countless wardrobe changes. Eat – throw up-sleep – eat – throw up-sleep. Here are some pictures of Kate…. Monday, November 1, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, April 16, 2011. These days, it's been difficult to get good pictures of Connor and Kate. They're usually running wildly through the house and despite my best attempts one or the other has food on their face or shirt. However, I was able to snap a few cute pictures and wanted to share them here. My Little Cowgirl.ballerina.ok, I'm confused? My Handsome Little Man. Connor showing off his birthday present! McKinnon Gang: January 2015
http://mckinnonsa.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 4, 2015. There are so many joys that come from watching your special needs kid work hard to achieve the skills that come naturally to other kids. You learn to appreciate the things that other parents take for granted. Kate words (2-3 years old):. 1 Elementeen = 11. 2 Saymen = 7. 3 Hams = Hands. Kate used to put her socks on her hands and run around saying "I got sock hams. Look at my sock hams". 4 Carry you = carry me. 5 Cuter = computer. This one eventually evolved into pacuter. I've tak...

McKinnon Gang: Throwing a curve ball...

Thursday, April 11, 2013. Throwing a curve ball. I am constantly amazed by the mental processessing ability of my 3 year old. I'm convinced without question that Kate was put on this planet to shake things up a little bit. She was definately put into my life to test every fiber in my being. So here it goes. The next day, I was driving the kids to school when Kate asks, “Mommy, will I keep growing bigger and bigger? About that time, we pulled up to daycare. Again, Kate seemed satisfied by our discussi...

Friday, January 21, 2011. The Big Milk Mystery. As of few days ago, when I'm sitting on the couch in our living room - I smell rotten milk. We've looked everywhere. Under the couch cushions, behind the couch, under the couch - everywhere. I have NO idea where the milk is hiding but we've got to find it ASAP! This is disgusting. Thank God it's a rental house. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The kids are growing so fast. Here are a few memories that I want so share. 7 Kate is so independent - she will not accep...

McKinnon Gang: August 2013
http://mckinnonsa.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 6, 2013. On the way to school today, Connor and Kate took turns telling me stories from the backseat. Kate - ”Once upon a time, there was a horse and he ran, and ran, and ran, and ran. Then he saw some of his friends so he went to talk to his friends. Then he turned into a purple flying horse and went into the barn. The end.”. Me - Wow, that was good. Very creative and full of action. Great story telling sweetie! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). McKinnon Gang: Two turtle doves
http://mckinnonsa.blogspot.com/2013/01/christmas-this-year-was-interesting-to.html
Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Christmas this year was interesting to say the least. This was the first year that the kids really got into it. They understood who Santa was, they knew that Rudolph is the one with the red nose and they now possessed the manual dexterity to open even the most tightly wrapped presents. 8221; Ugh – Ok…our house will now be visited each year by our designated elf – Makasilo. And with that Kate will not ever be allowed to name any future family pets. Connor made it clear almost imm...
