We welcomed Isaac and Mikayle home. From Cope To Hope.

I want them to feel safe, to know whatever they do they will be loved in return. Why is it that while I feel so strongly about these things, I still get impatient? It's difficult to wrestle with the dichotomy of have/have not. It can't be tidied up and tucked away in a labeled box. It messes with my head. It kicks...This Satu...

live the life: January 2013

Monday, January 21, 2013. I dreamed a dream. Today is the day for remembering dreams. People’s dreams change the world. Their dreams become the realities that make us see things differently. Their dreams become the songs that inspire us, the buildings that impress us, the books that transform us. Their dreams are the fuel I have lived on for most of my adult life. But then you and I must ask ourselves, “ What are our dreams? Dare we speak them or harder still, share them? I wrote my dreams down once.

Monday, July 30, 2012. SO, I’ll go ahead and tell you–if you plan to adopt…put that seatbelt on…. I have heard it before.things start to break when you have both feet going down the adoption route. A few months ago, our frig broke, then the well pump needed to be repaired, then the water softener went and the tractor broke. Monday, November 12, 2012. I Walk the Line. The biggest hang-up for me (and sometimes still is) of joining a Protestant church is not having to pray through a priest and determining how I am comfortable worshiping. We should have rules. Here people, and there certainly shouldn't be any hand clapping or hand raising.
