Eagle Neck, Georgia. Coastal Georgia's Premiere Fly-in Community. Sunday, January 1, 2012. One of our favorite times of the year in Eagle Neck is Halloween. The children and grandchildren of the subdivision are invited to meet at the commons area and get introduced to all of the dressed up characters (adults and children). Eagle Neck, Georgia. Coastal Georgia's Premiere Fly-in Community. Sunday, January 1, 2012. We were moving to the Savannah, GA area. Not sure of which area we wanted, the search began. We looked north, east, and west. Then someone told my husband about a fly-in community south of the city. One day he drove to Eagle Neck subdivision. I can't say I've ever seen a grown man salivate over huge concrete buildings (airplane hangars)! He told me about the neighborhood and scheduled a day to see it.

When we moved to the Savannah area, marshy areas were everywhere. At first, I didn't know what to think of the tall brown or green (depending on which season it is) grasses; over time, I have come to truly appreciate them for their natural beauty.
