EAPL Teens: 2016 Wrap Up
http://eaplteens.blogspot.com/2017/01/2016-wrap-up.html
2016 WAS THE BEST YEAR EVER! Said no one ever. It's finally 2017, and I'm sure we all want to leave 2016 behind. Because any year that takes as many artists, actors, singers, authors, and heroes as 2016 did deserves to be tarred and feathered in the town square. But 2016 wasn't completely unkind. It did bring us a lot of amazing books. Here are the books from 2016 at EAPL that were the most popular among YOU fine people. The Problem with Forever. Exit, Pursued by a Bear. This is Where it Ends.

EAPL Teens: Author Spotlight: Mark Alpert!
http://eaplteens.blogspot.com/2017/01/author-spotlight-mark-alpert.html
Author Spotlight: Mark Alpert! Written by EAPL staff member Mary N. :). I call many people brilliant. I may use the word literally when I mean figuratively. But this guy Mark Alpert is LITERALLY brilliant. Which you can tell in his sci-fi books. He has an actual understanding of the science he writes about, which makes me ridiculously happy. What can I say? I love sci-fi that potentially makes sense. :). Book summaries taken from Goodreads. Then an artificial intelligence program, Sigma, hacks into Adam'...

Events at the Main Branch. Whoops. We exhausted ourselves from all that stuff we did last summer. More programs coming to the Main Branch soon! Events at the Palmer Branch.
