Photo Search Engine（English）. フェアバンクスから小型機（ナバホ）で南下すること約１時間。アラスカ山脈の北側斜面に到達する。２月の厳冬期ではあるが、太陽の日差しはすでに春を感じさせる。 先週まで異常にあたたかかったフェアバンクスは、今朝になって、本来の寒さを取り戻してきた。 ２月になって、ずいぶん昼が長くなってきた。つい２週間前までは、朝日からすぐに夕日にかわっていたことを考えると、春も近いのだと感じる。いまの日照時間は7時間。ちなみに２週間前は５時間ほどだった。 気温が上がり、一度地上に降りて無くなった樹氷の水分も、昨日あたりから冷え込み、再び木々の枝まで運ばれて、またそこで固まった。 もう一度くらい−３０度までさがるだろうか。最近のフェアバンクスは５年前に比べるとずいぶん暖かく、冬が短く感じる。 アラスカで写真を撮影し、自然写真家としての自分に、何ができるかを考えながらブログを書いています。 ブログ記事 (Blog Archive).
